Nae (No Animal Exploitation) is a shoe brand based in Lisbon, Portugal. Its main goal is to create fair and animal-friendly shoes, respecting the environment and standing against human exploitation. Nae Vegan Shoes focuses on design, materials and high quality. The brand only works with eco-friendly and vegan materials such as recycled airbag, cork, biodegradable microfiber, PET – recycled plastic bottles, pinãtex – a natural textile from the waste of ananas fibers.
Their shoes are produced in Portugal and tested to guarantee its resistance and comfort. Most of the materials belong to Portuguese suppliers and are manufactured in small and medium factories around the country. A lot of these manufacturing processes are "handmade".
